A pretty pair of Georgian-inspired paste solitaire earrings, converted from an antique Georgian collar. The chunky cushion cut pastes are expertly cut and simulate the beauty and sparkle of large 5ct diamonds. They’re held in closed-back silver collet settings with 18ct gold hooks on top.

Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that has been used since ancient times to simulate the beauty of gemstones. The art of cutting paste takes expert craftsmanship and the highest quality stones are often able to replicate the cut, colour and sparkle of natural gems to near perfection.
