This fabulous 18ct Yellow Gold Memento Mori Diamond Skull and cross bone ring is fabulous.

The skull and cross bones are surrounded by Diamonds in the outer gallery leading to an ornate gallery and shank.

Skull jewellery (Memento Mori) is very collectable.

Memento Mori means "Remember that you must die" and to cherish each day as it is a reminder of the imminence of both death and the hazards of life.

During the 17th Century Memento Mori jewellery was decorated with skulls, crossbones, skeletons, coffins, and worms which all seems very macabre to us today.

Diamonds sit in the skulls eyes and cross bones of this macabre ring.
