These spectacular Ruby and Diamond cluster earrings are each crafted around a fiery 0.60ct Ruby. A total of 1.50ct of old cut Diamonds are arranged in a bright halo surrounding them.
Rubies are a timeless symbol of passion and true love, favoured by royalty and nobility and often paired with Diamonds, whose sparkling white light complements the bright red stones wonderfully. The old cut diamonds used here are particularly valued, as they sparkle with immense inner fire and life, and are known to dance by candlelight.
The Ruby and Diamonds in this piece are circa 1900, and have been lovingly set into a newer 18ct White Gold gallery, supported by an 18ct Yellow Gold backing and push back posts to hold them securely to the ear.
