This wonderful spider pendant is adorned with sparkling old rose cut Diamonds, approx. 0.35ct in total, with approx. 0.40ct of bright blue Sapphires and Ruby set eyes.
Spider and insect jewellery was popular in the Victorian era, and was considered a symbol of good luck to the wearer.
The stones are set in Silver, backed in Yellow Gold in a Victorian style. Each delicate leg has been expertly fashioned, with a single diamond at the joint and elaborate patterned engravings.
