This unique Suffragette Greyhound brooch is set in 18ct Gold on Silver.
The brooch is decorated in sparkling Diamonds, Amethysts and Peridots.
This wonderful combination of colours represent the Suffragette movement.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
The brooch is fitted with a sturdy pin and catch.
