A sweet Victorian-inspired acrostic ring featuring a line of gemstones that spell out the word DEAREST. They include diamond, emerald, amethyst, ruby, emerald, sapphire and topaz (approx. 0.08 – 0.10ct each). 

The Victorians loved romance and Acrostic jewellery was a popular way to express secret, romantic messages spelt out in gemstones to their beloved during a time when there were strict rules and restrictions surrounding a couple’s courtship.

The carved half-hoop gallery is typical of the Victorian era and is fashioned in silver, gilded in 18ct yellow gold with scrolling decoration engraved across the sides. It’s very pretty and the perfect gift for your dearest.
