A colourful Victorian inspired acrostic ring adorned with a brilliant cut diamond in the centre, encircled by an amethyst, ruby, sapphire, topaz and two emeralds which together form the acronym “Dearest”.
Acrostic rings, or “DEAREST” rings were popular in the Victorian era and were used to express a secret, romantic message to their loved one spelt out in gemstones, reminding them how dear they were to their heart.
The stones are all claw set in a flower shaped face modelled in 9ct gold with split shoulders on either side. It displays a fabulous rainbow of gemstones and would make a perfect gift for your dearest.
