Product Details
A classic Egyptian inspired snake bangle from the late 20th Century built around a durable steel spring that has been wrapped in 9ct gold and coils around to the serpent’s head and tail which have been delicately engraved and set with pink ruby eyes.
Egyptian style snake jewellery saw a revival in the 20th Century after an abundance of archaeological discoveries, most notably the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb brought about a fascination and desire for Egyptian themed pieces across Europe.
It’s a clever design and the spring expands to fit the wrist comfortably. It’s complete with the maker’s initials (D.J.) and Birmingham hallmarks on the back of the head.
