Details
This magnificent vintage amethyst and diamond cluster ring is crowned with an impressive natural oval-cut amethyst, weighing approx. 4.50 carats, displaying a sumptuous deep purple hue. Encircling the centre stone is a radiant daisy halo of fourteen brilliant-cut diamonds, totalling approx. 1.40 carats (H colour, SI1 clarity). Each gem is elevated within an open wire basket gallery, beautifully crafted in luminous 18ct white gold, enhancing both the diamonds and the amethyst's rich violet tones.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is often associated with Saint Valentine, the patron saint of love. Throughout history, its deep purple-violet hue has long been a favourite of royalty and contrasts beautifully with the bright, scintillating sparkle of diamonds, together symbolising protection, eternal love and devotion.
Beautifully preserved, this striking amethyst and diamond cluster ring would make a perfect gift for a February birthday, milestone anniversary, or the crown-jewel to a vintage jewellery collection. Whether worn as a glamorous cocktail ring or as a bold everyday statement, its captivating sparkle and regal colour are certain to draw admiration wherever it is worn.
