An exquisite vintage pendant showcasing a magnificent oval briolette cut amethyst in the centre with an array of twinkling brilliant cut diamonds surrounding (approx. 1.2ct total). The centre stone weighs approx. 12 carats and has a deep violet hue and diamond facets that flicker beautifully when they catch the light.

Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels. 

The piece is crafted in 18ct white/ yellow gold with stylish open metalwork and interlaced arches, creating a fabulous flower petal border. It’s a stunning design, dating from the late 20^th Century with a gorgeous amethyst at its heart.
