A glamorous pair of vintage drop earrings (Circa 1930) adorned with luxurious briolette cut amethyst droppers with a deep, regal purple hue (approx. 20ct each). The tops are fashioned in 14ct gold with a central pearl and a halo of flickering rose cut diamonds around the border (approx. 1.6ct total).
Amethyst is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity and has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and deep violet colouring which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
