Product Details
A majestic vintage dropper necklace adorned with eleven oval cut amethyst droppers with bright, white cultured pearls suspended in between. Each amethyst displays a luxurious deep violet hue and graduate in size from 2.2ct to 3.3ct in the middle (approx. 27ct total).
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and the stone of Saint Valentine. Its deep purple-violet hue has been a favourite of royalty throughout history and contrasts beautifully with the bright, natural lustre of pearls, which together symbolise romance, love and loyalty.
The stones are held in pierced claw galleries, all fashioned in 9ct gold along with the chain and ring clasp. It’s a magnificent piece, fit for royalty and features hallmarks on the back that indicate it was made in Edinburgh in 1976.
We recommend you insure for £2,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
