A spectacular vintage aquamarine and diamond cocktail ring, crafted in Europe during the mid-20th century. At its centre sits a magnificent approx. 10.00 carat oval-cut aquamarine, displaying a crystal-clear icy blue hue with delicate flashes of green. Surrounding the centre stone is a dazzling halo of 20 brilliant-cut diamonds, totalling approx. 1.60 carats, with SI1 clarity and H colour, creating exceptional brilliance and contrast.
Aquamarine, the March birthstone, is cherished for its tranquil ocean-blue colour and has long been associated with happiness, serenity and good fortune. Paired with sparkling diamonds, the combination evokes the shimmering light of the sun dancing across a tropical sea.
The gemstones are securely bezel-set within a scalloped 14ct yellow gold gallery, with a pierced under-gallery and low-profile setting that hugs the finger, while maintaining its bold cocktail-ring presence. It’s a striking vintage statement piece, with an impressive natural aquamarine, stamped 585/14K alongside a small hallmark of European origin.
