A fabulous vintage heart pendant adorned with bright, seed pearls and two, icy blue aquamarines (approx. 0.50ct each). The gallery has a beautiful, open-work design with scrolling, floral motifs inspired by the exquisite Art Nouveau pieces of the early 20^th Century.  

Aquamarine derives its name from its calming, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth. 

The pendant is fashioned in 9ct gold and complete with clear Sheffield hallmarks along the side, dating it to 1987. It’s very pretty and accompanied by a fine 9ct gold chain to display it on.
