Weighing approx. 5.5 carats, the beautiful oval cut blue topaz shimmers with many expertly cut facets and is mounted in a secure claw setting with four angled tapered baguette cut diamonds flanking on either side, exhibiting excellent VS1 clarity – H colour (approx. 0.50ct total).
Topaz is the birthstone of November and comes in a wide range of colours. The blue variety is said to bring serenity, wisdom and clarity of mind, due to its calming sea-blue hues that rival similar blue gemstones, such as aquamarines and sapphires.
This striking topaz diamond ring is modelled in a sunny 18ct yellow gold, with white gold settings for the diamonds and a thick band at the back, complete with Birmingham hallmarks within, dating to 1994.
