Dating to the mid-20th century, this exquisite vintage blue zircon collar necklace is inspired by the romantic Garland Style of the Belle Époque (Beautiful Era), composed of elegant floral links joined by intricate eternity knots, symbolising blossoming love and an unbreakable bond.
Each openwork rosette link is crafted in warm 9ct gold and crowned with a vibrant natural blue zircon (approx. 8ct total), displaying a distinctive cerulean-blue hue and remarkable “electric” brilliance. These captivating gemstones were once affectionately nicknamed “Starlight” for their dazzling fire and were said to rival even the finest diamonds.
This glamorous Edwardian-revival necklace remains in excellent condition and fastens securely with a classic bolt-ring clasp. Measuring 16 inches, it sits gracefully along the collarbone, perfectly suited to weddings, glamorous occasions, or any moment deserving of timeless elegance, with its captivating blue gemstones catching the light with the enchanting glow of the heavens.
