This fabulous vintage charm bracelet is adorned with forty-three cherry-picked charms, suspended from a curb link chain. It’s all fashioned in silver, gilded in a bright 18ct yellow gold and held securely around the wrist by a safety chain and heart padlock clasp.
There are so many quirky charms to discover. Some of the standouts include a cradle with a baby inside, a rotating dial-up telephone, a poodle, an articulated fish, a trilogy of wedding rings with glass diamonds, a John F Kennedy memorial head with one of his famous quotes on the back, a mortarboard graduation hat and a Vietnamese street vendor with pole and fruit. There are also a bunch of enamelled charms and coins from destinations around the globe, suggesting the original owner was well-travelled, visiting the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
Also, among the charms you’ll find a round disk with the inscription “To Dearest Jessie, for 21st Birthday, With all my love, Ben”. There is also second inscription on the back of a St. Christopher, signed “To Jessie, Love from Jeff”, indicating that Jessie was likely the original owner of the bracelet and perhaps set off on her adventures around the globe just after her 21st birthday.
This collectable vintage charm bracelet is so much fun to explore and play with and each charm likely has a wonderful story behind it. Who knows where “Jessie” ended up, but it’s safe to assume she had an exciting life, full of travel and adventure and this bracelet is a wonderful memento, reminding all to live life to its fullest!
