An astonishing mid 20th Century curb bracelet featuring fifty unique and whimsical charms that have been collected over the years, along with an abundance of old coins dating from 1872 to 1950.
Some of the standout charms include a swan that opens up to reveal a hidden ballerina, a large peacock, mice on an old boot, a heart locket containing two images, a woodpecker on a tree, a faceted glass globe, a tankard, a monkey hiding in a wagon, a talon holding a faux pearl, comedy and tragedy masks, an articulated fish, a glass bottle of silver flakes depicting gold and a lucky four-leaf clover preserved behind glass windows.
The bracelet and charms are all modelled in silver and have been given an 18ct yellow gold finish. It’s a fantastic collector’s piece and fitted with a secure heart padlock clasp and safety chain.
