This spectacular Vintage Cleopatra inspired necklace is from the mid 20th Century and fashioned skilfully in 9ct Yellow Gold with a line of decorative fringe panels along the bottom.
The Cleopatra design was inspired by the great Queen of Egypt who was said to be one of the most beautiful women of the ancient world and renowned for her grand jewellery and elaborate gold necklaces.
The necklace is expertly put together and has a smooth finish and good heavy weight to it. It’s held together securely by a box clasp complete with London hallmarks which date the piece to 1966.
