A spectacular vintage curb bracelet from the late 20th Century adorned with thirty-eight unique charms. All are fashioned in sterling silver, gilded in 18ct yellow gold with individual silver stamps and lion marks on each charm and link.
The standout charms include a champagne bottle in an ice bucket, a mouse and frog with articulated legs and arms, a bell, a witch on a broom, enamel crests and a Saint Christopher, a leaping deer, a heart padlock, a Lifebuoy ring with the words “Beware Sailor” engraved on it, the island of Jersey, an elf sitting in a horse shoe, and a round, spinning disk with a cryptic love message engraved on the front and back.
The piece is held securely around the wrist by a safety chain and ring clasp and includes London hallmarks on the back of the heart padlock that date to 1981. It’s a fantastic collector’s piece with a delightful collection of charms.
