Details
A regal Victorian Revival emerald and diamond cluster ring, claw-set with a glowing green oval-cut emerald at its heart, encircled by ten round brilliant-cut diamonds. The vibrant centre stone weighs approx. 0.70 carats, while the surrounding diamonds, exhibiting SI 1/2 clarity - H/I colour, provide a beautiful contrast and total approx. 0.80 carats.
The piece dates to the late 20th Century but draws inspiration from the romantic artistry of the Victorian era. A classic coronet gallery in white gold showcases the gemstones, whilst an exquisitely detailed 18ct yellow gold split-shoulder band sits at the back, adorned with elegant scrolling flourishes that subtly form two heart motifs.
It would make a striking statement piece or cluster engagement ring for those who adore classic design and the artistry of the Victorian era, with the gorgeous natural emerald symbolising love and new beginnings, while the surrounding diamond halo promises eternal devotion and protection.
