Details
A breath-taking vintage French diamond daisy cluster ring, exquisitely crafted in 18ct gold, with faded French hallmarks to the exterior of the band. It’s crowned with a dazzling cluster of brilliant-cut diamonds, displaying excellent VS1 clarity - H colour, gracefully elevated within an elegant wire basket gallery. The principal diamond weighs approx. 0.60 carats, embraced by a halo of ten radiant diamond petals, bringing the total weight to an estimated 1.40 carats.
One of the most enduringly romantic of all ring designs, the diamond daisy has long symbolised eternal love, new beginnings and a romance in full bloom. This enchanting example carries a particularly touching history, bearing a heartfelt gold script inscription within the band: the French words "Mon Amour" ("My Love"), accompanied by two initials and the date 07.07.76. Almost certainly added when the ring was given as an engagement ring, it serves as a beautiful reminder of a cherished promise and the love story it once celebrated, but can be removed if preferred, to make room for your own sentimental message.
Having already witnessed one enduring romance, it now awaits the chance to become part of another - whether presented as a timeless engagement ring, a meaningful anniversary gift, or simply cherished as an elegant statement of everlasting love.
