A delightful Vintage charm necklace from the early 20th Century fashioned in 9ct Yellow Gold and decorated with twelve individual charms and a medallion.
Each charm is hallmarked and stamped 9ct Gold. They have been collected over the years and include an: Elephant, French Horn, Purse, Rabbit, Chick, Snail, Tea kettle, Lion, sheep, ring, bell and an engagement ring set with a twinkling Paste Stone.
The Medallion is engraved on the back – ‘Henry Benjamin. Memorial Cup. Won by. A.Y. GIMSON. 1920’. It’s also complete with Birmingham hallmarks which date it to 1920.
It’s a wonderful piece and was clearly very dear to its original owner. It’s made up of gold curb links at the bottom which lead into a lovely box chain.
