A striking vintage trilogy ring crafted in two-tone 18ct white and yellow gold, featuring a vivid cushion-cut green tourmaline centre, weighing approx. 2.8 carats. Its deep green hue is beautifully complemented by two brilliant-cut diamonds, one on each shoulder, weighing approx. 0.30ct each (0.60ct total), with SI1 clarity - H colour. The stones are held in secure coronet settings, while a distinctive grooved band adds an elegant finishing touch at the back.
Green Tourmaline, also known as Verdelite ranges from lime-green to dark-olive or emerald. Its natural green colouring is associated with the beauty and healing power of the natural world and believed to bring vitality to oneās life and channel love to the heart. Along with the eternal diamonds, this trilogy beautifully symbolises past, present and future.
Dating to the mid-20th century and preserved in excellent condition, this fabulous trilogy ring would make a spectacular gift or distinctive alternative engagement ring. It is accompanied by an older green leatherette presentation box, finished with gold trim and a cream velvet and silk interior, bearing the signature of Kemp & Wilcox.
