Built around a spellbinding natural opal, this magnificent vintage cluster pendant is an enchanting find. Weighing approx. 3 carats, the large cabochon opal displays an extraordinary mosaic of neon green, blue, pink and orange flecks, shimmering like a fractured rainbow or miniature celestial landscape.
The opal is securely claw-set within a radiant halo of sixteen brilliant-cut diamonds, totalling approx. 1.6 carats. Graded H colour and SI1 clarity, the diamonds provide a scintillating frame, enhanced by the 18ct white gold setting. The reverse reveals a beautifully constructed yellow gold basket, allowing light to illuminate the opal from the back.
