A fabulous vintage opal and diamond cluster ring, beautifully crafted in warm 18ct yellow gold. The gallery presents a striking geometric interpretation of the classic daisy cluster design, centred around a mesmerising natural opal cabochon weighing approx. 1.5 carats. Symbolising passion, hope and luck, the opal reveals an enchanting play of colour, with ethereal flashes of green, blue and fiery orange dancing across its surface, framed by a sparkling halo of single-cut diamonds (approx. 0.18ct total).
The piece dates to the mid 20th century and has remained in excellent condition. A striking statement piece with a truly enchanting natural opal and diamond combination that arouses images of the Aurora borealis dancing elegantly against the night sky.
