Crafted in London in 1989, this vintage Victorian Revival ruby and diamond half-hoop ring is crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold with pierced sides and shoulders, capturing the romance and ornate craftsmanship of 19th-Century design. The ring is accompanied by a gemstone certification confirming the trilogy of vibrant, cherry-pink rubies are of Thailand or East African origin and are natural, with evidence of routine heat treatment to the centre stone.
The centre cushion-cut ruby weighs an estimated 0.60ct and is flanked by two matching rubies of approx. 0.18ct each, giving a total of 0.96ct. Nestled between are four sparkling brilliant-cut diamonds, totalling approx. 0.20ct, with SI1 clarity and H colour, adding exceptional brilliance and contrast.
