Product Details
A whimsical silver curb link bracelet from the 1960s featuring twenty-eight unique charms some of which open to reveal hidden surprises within. They’re all fashioned in silver and complete with various silver stamps and maker’s marks with a Sterling lion mark and London hallmarks on the chain dating to 1965.
The stand-out charms include a cathedral that opens to reveal a miniature wedding ceremony, a rotating roulette wheel, a grand piano with a music note under the lid, an enamel elf sitting in a wheelbarrow, a fire helmet with an axe inside, a large ornate jug, a lighter with pipe and ashtray within, a spinning carousel, a house with sleeping people under the roof, a hive with a bee inside and a theatre kart with enamelled Punch and Judy puppets performing within.
It’s a fantastic collector’s piece with a humorous collection of charms, held by a safety chain and heart padlock clasp.
