Details
Crafted in London in 1980, this magnificent vintage opal and diamond bangle is expertly fashioned in solid 9ct yellow gold. A graceful row of natural cabochon opals crowns the bracelet, each alive with mesmerising flashes of blue, green and fiery orange, enhanced by eighteen sparkling brilliant-cut diamonds nestled in-between. The combination has long been associated with hope, passion and celestial magic, evoking the ethereal beauty of the Aurora Borealis dancing across a starlit sky.
Though created in the late 20th century, its spirit belongs firmly to the Victorian Revival, with an intricately carved half-hoop gallery, elegant scrollwork and beautifully engraved floral shoulders that capture the romance, artistry and grandeur of 19th-century jewellery.
With its enchanting rainbow of natural opals and substantial weight, this exceptional vintage bangle makes a truly spectacular statement piece. It’s fully hallmarked within the band and is fitted with a secure locking box clasp and safety catch at the side so it remains secure wherever you take it.
