Details
A wonderful Victorian revival brooch from the early 20th Century depicting a six-pointed star encrusted with a dazzling array of paste stones that simulate the beauty and sparkle of diamonds.
Star jewellery became a popular motif during the late 19th Century due to an increased interest in astronomy. They’re seen to represent guidance and lead you in the direction you are meant to go.
The piece is modelled in silver and fitted with a pin and locking clasp at the back. It’s very eye catching and sparkles as a bright as the star it depicts.
