Product Details
A beautiful vintage snake bangle made in Birmingham in 1975. The bangle is built around a durable steel spring that has been wrapped in 9ct gold and leads to the serpent’s head and tail which have been delicately engraved and set with pink ruby eyes.
Egyptian-style snake jewellery saw a revival in the 20th Century after an abundance of archaeological discoveries, most notably the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb brought about a fascination and desire for Egyptian-themed pieces across Europe.
It’s a clever design and the spring expands to fit the wrist comfortably. It’s complete with the maker’s mark and hallmarks on the back of the head.
We also have a matching snake collar in stock. Please enquire, or search item number AJ1001 to view it.
